The adventures of Detective Coli - "Endometriosis"

This game was developed to spread awareness about endometriosis. Endometriosis is a disease that is currently widely misunderstood, not only by the general public but also by medical professionals. Despite this, it affects about 1 in 10 women and in a high number of case is extremely debilitating in everyday life. It is characterised by the presence outside the uterine cavity of tissue similar to the uterine lining, which is responsible for disabling pelvic pain and, in some cases, infertility. There is no simple way to diagnose this disease and no specific treatment.

The iGEM GO Paris-Saclay team worked in 2021 on the development of a diagnostic test for endometriosis that's accessible to everyone. In the game, you can accompany Detective Coli to discover all about endometriosis, from the diagnostic tests we developed in our laboratories to its impact on society.
